How do I register for a course?
To register for a course, please Victoria Jolly on +44 20 7978 0074 or email vjolly@thecwcgroup.com. Alternatively, you can fill in the booking form on the back of the course brochures and fax it back to +44 20 7978 0099 or email it to bookings@thecwcgroup.com.
A confirmation letter, hotel booking form, invoice and joining instructions will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration. Payment is due within 14 days from date of invoice and before the course commences.
What is the fee for your course?
All course fees vary, please contact us stating your preferred course title and the dates and we will get in contact with you.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer significant discounts for companies that book more than three participants onto the same course at the same venue and dates.Many of our clients send more than three delegates to each course and our regular participants benefit from considerable savings, please contact Victoria Jolly on +44 20 7978 0074 or email vjolly@thecwcgroup.com for more information.
To qualify for any discount, payment must bemade within 14 days from date of invoice and before the course commences.
What does the fee include?
Your fee includes a comprehensive set of documentation in both printed and electronic format. A contacts list will be provided at the end of the course with details of all attendees so you can contact your colleagues following the course. Lunch and refreshments are also provided throughout the duration of the course.
Hotel accommodation and travel costs are not included in the registration fee, however, we negotiate preferential rates with the venue and several hotels in close vicinity of the venue.
When must full payment be received?
Full payment must be received before a place can be guaranteed. Under UK Excise Regulations, delegates from all countries are required to pay VAT on any courses taking place in the UK. Non-UK residents have the right to try and reclaim the paid VAT. Payment can be made by bank transfer or by cheque payable to CWC School for Energy Limited and send to:

What are your booking conditions?
Full payment is due within
14 days from date of invoice and before the course commences. Delegates will not be allowed entry to the course if any payments are outstanding. A confirmation letter and invoice will be sent to you on receipt of your booking. If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate is always welcome. If you cancel your place more than one month before the event, a
cancellation fee will be applicable. If you cancel your registration within one month of the event, or fail to attend the event then a
50% cancellation fee shall be applicable.
Cancellation must be made in writing and will be acknowledged in writing. CWC has the right to cancel your place at anytime. It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organisers to alter the content, timings or venue. The Company will not accept liability for any transport disruption or individual transport delays and in such circumstances the normal cancellation restrictions apply.
Do I get a certificate as aknowledgement of learning?

What course materials are provided?
You will get a starter kit that includes a set of comprehensive documentation supporting the programme with notes, slides, recommended further reading and extra materials relevant to the course. This documentation will be provided in paper and electronic format.
What is your standard course format?
All of the School’s courses encourage an interactive approach with case studies, simulation exercises and discussions, providing participants from across the world with the opportunity for fruitful exchange and learning. This interaction not only re-affirms the learning process and explores real issues, but it also helps to create long-lasting relationships with other course participants.
Case Studies – Real-life examples of organisations’ challenges and opportunities, these provide genuine insight and learning by questioning how they should respond to these topical issues.
Simulation Exercises – Some of our courses require participants to take part in simulation exercises, putting into practise the knowledge gained.
Discussions – Group sessions draw on the course dynamics to address issues raised, increasing participants’ confidence to interact in a global environment.
Feedback – Course leaders will provide constructive feedback and offer suggestions for improvement.
Site Visits – Some of our courses provide participants with the opportunity to “see it live” with visits to working plants.
Where are your courses held?
Our courses are held worldwide, in Angola, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Italy, The Netherlands, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, UK and USA providing an even wider global audience with the chance to attend these industry acclaimed courses.
Is accommodation included in the price?
Hotel accommodation and travel costs are not included in the registration fee. However, we negotiate special rates at the course venues and hotels nearby.
An accommodation booking form will be sent to you when you register. More information will be provided in the joining instructions upon receipt of your registration. It is the responsibility of the individual to arrange accommodation before the course commences. The rooms are subject to availability and we recommend that you book in advance to secure the reduced rates.
Are meals and refreshments included?
Tea, coffee, refreshments and pastries will be available during the morning, mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks. Lunches will also be provided at the venue throughout the duration of the course, please let us know as soon as possible if you have any particular dietary restrictions. Breakfasts and evening meals are not included, unless otherwise stated.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code for our courses. Business suits are not required and most people who attend our courses prefer to wear smart-casual clothing, you may want to bring more formal clothing for dinners or networking functions.
What are the programme timings for your courses?
A confirmation letter will be sent to you upon registration detailing the programme timings. Below is approximate

I have seen another date/location for this course. Which is correct?
All the information on our website is up-to-date with the correct course dates and course location. Some courses have multiple dates/locations throughout the year. If you are still unsure, please contact us.
How do I check if there is availability on the course?
Please check the Course Schedule, if there is no availability on the course, it should say 'Waiting List'. If you want to check, please contact us.
What language are your courses taught in?
All our courses are conducted in English and we recommend that you have a good level of understanding the English language. If you would like to have an in-house course conducted in another language, please visit the in-house training section and we will deal with your request.
Is there an age limit for the courses?
We recommend that people who attend the course are over 21 years of age.
Can I get an invitation letter?
If you need an invitation letter for VISA purposes when you register, please mention this upon registration. After you register, we will invoice you and as soon as your payment is received an invitation letter will be sent to you.
What about my personal details?
The personal information provided by you will be held on a database and may be shared with companies in the CWC group. Sometimes your details may be available to external companies for marketing purposes.
